In addition to certification in accordance with DIN 14675, specialist companies must also provide evidence of an appropriate quality management system. As proof, a certificate issued by a body accredited in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021‑1 is sufficient, for example. TÜV Hessen is an accredited body. Furthermore, planners for fire detection and fire alarm systems (BMA) or voice alarm systems (SAA) are obliged to demonstrate an appropriate quality management system (proof: submission of documented information).

Certification is also required for the in‑house maintenance of fire detection and fire alarm systems in larger companies.
TÜV Hessen is accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) for the certification of specialist companies for fire detection and fire alarm systems or voice alarm systems.
A list of our clients can be found in our customer register (management systems).

The Association of Accredited Certification Bodies (VAZ e.V.) is the owner of the certification programme “ARGE DIN 14675”. The ARGE DIN 14675 within the VAZ assumes all rights and obligations for its maintenance and administration. The programme has been confirmed by DAkkS.

How long is the certification valid?

After successful completion of the certification process, the certificate is valid for four years, with a surveillance audit after two years.
Certification is required for the following phases: planning, installation, assembly, commissioning, acceptance, and maintenance.
